Many British Colonies issued stamps in very similar designs (often only the country name was changed). A list of these stamps is given here:

 

1935 Silver Jubilee of King George V, inscription "1910-1935"

1/2 p green and black

Three stamps were issued for the following colonies (all in different colours): Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Basutoland, British Solomon Islands, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Gambia, Gibraltar, Gilbert & Ellice Islands, Gold Coast, Grenada, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Kenia-Uganda-Tanganyika, Leeward Islands, Malta, Mauritius, Montserrat, Nigeria, Northern Rhodesia, Nyasaland, St.Christopher and Nevis, St.Helena, St.Lucia, St.Vincent, Seychelles, Straits Settlements, Swaziland, Trinidad & Tobago, Virgin Islands.

Three stamps were issued for each of the following colonies in the above design (in many different colours): Aden, Antigua, Ascension, Bahamas, Barbados, Basutoland, Bechuanaland Protectorate, Bermuda, British Guiana, British Honduras, British Solomon Islands, Cayman Islands, Ceylon, Cook Islands (overprinted "COOK IS'DS" on New Zealand), Cyprus, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gambia, Gibraltar, Gilbert & Ellice Islands, Gold Coast, Grenada, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Kenya-Uganda-Tanganyika, Leeward Islands, Malta, Mauritius, Montserrat, Newfoundland, Nieu (overprinted "NIUE" on New Zealand), Nigeria, New Zealand (slightly different design, no crown etc. in center), Northern Rhodesia, Nyasaland, St Christopher and Nevis, St.Helena, St.Lucia, St.Vincent, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somaliland Protectorate, Straits Settlements Malaya, Swaziland, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos Islands, Virgin Islands.

The stamp for Great Britain (only one stamp was issued), had a slightly different design:

Southern Rhodesia issued four stamps a different design: it pictures King George VI and his wife with in the background the Victoria Falls with a train. This stamp exist overprinted "MOROCCO AGENCIES 15 CENTIMOS", "MOROCCO AGENCIES 15 CENTIMES" and "TANGIER" for the British post offices in Morocco.

Nauru, Papua and the Territory of New Guinea issued four stamps in a completely different design (smaller, with portrait of the King only and inscriptin "CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI"):

South Africa issued ten different stamps in a different design (King facing the left). South West Africa also issued a design with the King facing the left (16 values).

Other design, here for Hongkong

Other British colonies that issued stamps to commemorate the victory, but in other designs are listed here: The Aden states of Qu'aiti and Kathiri issued commemorative stamps, but in a different design (overprinted "VICTORY ISSUE 8th JUNE 1946" on postage stamps of these countries). Australia issued three stamps in a different design (2 1/2 p red, 3 1/2 p blue and 5 1/2 p green with inscription "PEACE"). Bahawalpur issued a stamp with inscription "VICTORY". Basutoland and Bechuanaland issued a set of six stamps each (overprint "Basutoland" or "Bechuanaland" on South African stamps). Burma issued four stamps (without any particular inscription referring to the victory). Canada issued 10 stamps (including airmail etc.). The Cook Islands issued four stamps (overprinted "COOK ISLANDS" on New Zealand stamps). Great Britain issued two stamps in two different designs. Hongkong issued two stamp. Hyderabad issued one stamp. India issued four stamps. Niue issued four stamps (overprinted "NIUE" on New Zealand stamps). New Zealand itself issued 11 stamps. Southern Rhodesia issued four different stamps. South West Africa issued six stamps (overprinted "SWA" on South Africa). Swazieland also issued six stamps (overprinted "Swaziland" on South Africa). Tangier issued two stamps with overprint "TANGIER" on the stamps of Great Britain. South Africa (six values, three different designs, inscription "SUID-AFRIKA" and "SOUTH AFRICA"). Western Samoa issued four stamps (overprinted "WESTERN SAMOA") on stamps of New Zealand. Zanzibar issued two stamps (normal postage stamps, overprinted "VICTORY ISSUE 8 TH JUNE 1946" in red).

For Great Britain itself, two values in a slightly different design were issued (this design was also overprinted in "ANNAS" or "RUPEES" to be used in Oman). Furthermore Bahrain, Morocco Agencies and Kuwait also used these basic British stamps and overprinted them

New Hebrides issued a set of eight stamps, four with English inscription and four with French inscription, all in the same design (2.25 R Seychelles design as shown above).

 

1951 University College of the West Indies

Two stamps in two different designs were issued for the following colonies (in many different colours): Barbados, British Guiana, Dominica, Jamaica, Montserrat, St.Kitts-Nevis, St.Lucia, Trinidad.

Three stamps (all in the same design, but in different colours) were issued for each of the following colonies: Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St.Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla, St.Lucia, St.Vincent, Trinidad & Tobago.

One stamp was issued for each colony (in many colours). This design was issued in Aden, Antigua, Ascension, Bechuanaland Protectorate, Bahamas, Basutoland, Bermuda, British Guiana, British Honduras, British Solomon Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Fiji, Falkland Islands, Gambia, Gibraltar, Gilbert & Ellice Islands, Grenada, Hongkong, Mauritius, Montserrat, New Hebrides Condominium, Pitcairn Islands, St.Helena, St.Lucia, Sarawak, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tristan da Cunha, Turks & Caicos Islands, Virgin Islands.

Brunei and Tonga issued a stamp in a similar design, but with the portrait of the local ruler instead of Queen Elizabetch II. Trinidad & Tobago issued three stamps in a similar design, but shorter (the section with the Queen has been cut off).

 

1963 Red Cross Centenary

Two stamps (colours black/red and blue/red) were issued for the following colonies in the same design: Antigua, Ascension, Bahamas, Basutoland, Bechuanaland, Bermuda, British Guiana, British Honduras, British Solomon Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gambia, Gibraltar, Gilbert & Ellice Islands, Grenada, Hongkong, Jamaica, Malta, Mauritius, Montserrat, Pitcairn Islands, St.Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla, St.Helena, St.Lucia, St.Vincent, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tristan da Cunha, Turks & Caicos Islands, Virgin Islands.

Great Britain issued three stamps in a different design with inscription "Red Cross Centenary Congress". The New Hebrides Condominium issued two stamps in a similar design as the colonies above, but the portrait of Queen Elizabeth is replaced with 'EIIR' and 'RF'. Rhodesia & Nyasaland issued one stamp (in red) in a different design, where the face of the Queen is placed at the right hand side.

 

1964 Shakespeare issue

One stamp was issued for each of the following colonies (many different colours): Antigua, Bahamas, Bechuanaland, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Gambia, Gibraltar, Montserrat, St.Lucia, Turks & Caicos Islands, Virgin Islands.

Two stamps were issued for the following colonies in the same design (but different colours for each value and each colony): Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Bechuanaland, British Guiana, British Honduras, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Grenada, Montserrat, Pitcairn Islands, St.Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla, St.Helena, St.Lucia, St.Vincent, Seychelles, Swaziland, Turks & Caicos Islands, Tristan da Cunha.

The New Hebrides Condominium issued two stamps in a similar design as the colonies above, but the portrait of Queen Elizabeth is replaced with 'RF' and 'EIIR'. Rhodesia issued three values, but in a different design. Brunei issued two stamps in similar design, but with the portrait of the local ruler.

 

1965 International Collaboration Year

1966 Churchill issue

Four stamps were issued for the following colonies (all in the same design and the same colour scheme for all colonies): Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Bechuanaland, Bermuda, British Antarctic Territories, British Honduras, British Solomon Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Gilbert & Ellice Islands, Grenada, Mauritius, Montserrat, St.Helena, St.Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla, St.Lucia, St.Vincent, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tristan da Cunha, Turks & Caicos Islands.

British Guiana issued two stamp in a different design with the St.George Cathedral in the center, Churchill at the right and Queen Elizabeth II at the left. The New Hebrides Condominium issued two sets of four stamps in a similar design as the colonies above, but the portrait of Queen Elizabeth is replaced with "EIIR" and "RF", the text in the first set is "CONDOMINIUM DES NOUVELLES HEBRIDES", in the second set: "NEW HEBRIDES CONDOMINIUM". Brunei issued four stamps in similar design, but with the portrait of the local ruler.

 

1966 Royal visit to the Caribbean

Two stamps were issued in the same design in the colours blue/black and red/black for the following colonies: Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, British Guiana, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St.Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla, St.Lucia, St.Vincent, Turks & Caicos Islands and Virgin Islands.

 

1966 World Cup Championship England 1966

Two stamps were issued for the following colonies (all in the same design): Antigua, Ascension, Bahamas, Bermuda, British Solomon Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Fiji, Gibraltar, Gilbert & Ellice Islands, Grenada, Pitcairn Islands, St.Christopher - Nevis - Anguilla, St. Helena, St.Lucia, Seychelles, Tristan da Cunha.

In a similar design (but without the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II), two values were issued for Brunei, New Hebrides Condominium and The federation of South Arabia.

 

1966 WHO new headquarters building

Two stamps were issued for the following colonies (same design): Antigua, Bahamas, British Solomon Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Pitcairn Islands, St.Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla, St.Helena, St.Lucia, St.Vincent, Tristan da Cunha.

1966 20th anniversary of Unesco

Three stamps, each in slightly different design ('Education', 'Science' and 'Culture'), were issued for the following colonies: Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, British Solomon Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Pitcairn Islands, St.Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla, St.Helena, St.Lucia, St.Vincent, Swaziland, Tristan da Cunha, Turks & Caicos Islands.

The New Hebrides Condominium also issued similar stamps, but with "EIIR RF" instead of the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II instead. Brunei issued three stamps in similar design, but with the portrait of the local ruler.
