Forgeries exist of this stamp, examples:
Forgery with cancel 'LIBREVILLE 10 MARS 00 CONGO FRANCAIS' the
year could also have been '98' or '99' (since the '00' are very
small and might actually have been '8' or '9')
Even though this stamp was offered as genuine on an Internet
auction, I have my doubts since it has exactly the same cancel as
the previous stamp

The above stamp is a Fournier forgery from a Fournier album, there is an overprint 'FAUX' that has been scillfully disguised with a black bar (in front of the '10'). In the Fournier forgeries, the ornaments below the "C" of "Congo" are different (in the genuine the three lines below this letter form a different pattern).
Other forgery
I have seen so-called Hialeah forgeries of this stamp (uncancelled and in a block of 4).
