There are at least two types of forged overprints. In the first forged overprint, the octagonal frame around the cross has much more space than in the genuine stamps. In the second forged overprint, has the '3' very much different from the genuine overprint. I presume the above overprint is genuine. If anybody posesses pictures of these forged overprints, please contact me!

With 'S.O. 1920.' overprint

Overprinted with 'S.O. 1920' these stamps were used in Eastern Silesia. A similar design with a labourer was issued for Upper Silesia.

Various stamps of this issue were handstamped with 'PORTO' to serve as postage due stamps, example:

Propaganda overprint 'Deutscher Wert gleich 140 Pfg Wahlt Deutsch!' (German value equal to 140 pfg, vote german!)
