Special cancels, an Ottawa crown cancel:
Other mute cancels exist in the shape of maple-leafs, flowers, crosses, stars etc, examples:
(Hawksville 'Star' Cork cancel)
A duplex cancel of Montreal.
2 c in wrong color, red, with a very strange cancel.
A bogus '1' surcharge with two horizontal lines on the old value.
A 'Hechler bisect'; these were not
allowed by the authorities, but somehow Hechler managed to 'get
them through the post'. They have a Halifax cancel (the hometown
of Hechler).
20 c red 50 c blue
These stamps were used on parcels.
