Just after the second world war, numerous local stamps were issued in Germany. Some examples are given below.
(Unknown label, inscription 'Mark. 2.00 bezahlt Passamt')
(Two of such stamps on an envelope)
Some very primitive stamps were issued; inscriptio 'ALTDOBELN' and value. At least the values 6 p and 12 p exist.
5 p green 6 p violet 8 p red
Some primitive labels with inscription 'Gebuhr Bezahlt' were issued. Some examples on an envelope:
Inscription 'Aschaffenburg Wiederaufbau':
(Reduced sizes)
I have seen the values 6 + 24 p violet, 10 + 40 p green, and 16 + 84 p red.
I have also seen a very primitive label with a black double circle 'Postamt' on top and '*' at the bottom, the whole label was further surcharged in red with 'Gebuhr Bezahlt' in a rectangle.
Stamps of Germany, overprinted 'Die Stadt Bad Gottleuba' (so-called 'Dienstsiegelaufdruck'). The Hitler stamps of this period also exist with the same overprint.
Primitive stamps, 'Postamt Bad Nauheim' in a double circle, example on envelope:
42 p black and violet ? p 70 p black and violet
With arms of Bad Nauheim
(Bad Nauheim, Gebuhr bezahlt, Postamt)
80 p grey(?) and black 84 p violet and black 104 p blue and black 108 p green and black 140 p red and black
All 8 stamps were reprinted privately by the stamp club of Bad Nauheim in 1946 (3000 sets were printed). Each reprint had a serial number printed in the margin on top of the stamp, furthermore the signature was printed in bright violet, instead of written manually in black, blue or violet ink as in the genuine stamps. The first three genuine stamps have horizontal perforation 12 1/2, the reprints have perforation 10 1/2 horizontally. More information can be found in 'Fakes & Forgeries of Germany & Colonies No.2' by The German Philatelic Society, page 42.
Primitive stamps, 'Postamt Bad Saarow (Mark)' in a double circle, the value is printed or written in by hand. Example on envelope:
Stamps with the image of Hitler, overprinted 'Bad Saarow (Mark)'
(Hitler stamp, overprinted with three thick horizontal bars)
If I'm well informed 7 values of the Hitler stamps received this overprint (from 1 to 20 p).
Some 'Taxe percue' labels were used as postage stamps in this town.
Very primitive labels with hand written value inscription were issued for this town (they are so primitive, that I can't even read the inscription!):
Various designs, inscription 'Cottbus Aufbau Marke':

Very primitive labels with a handritten value were issued for this town:
Some stamps of 'Provinz Sachsen' (wiederaufbau) were overprinted with 'DESSAU'. Three values exist: 6+4 p green, 12+8 p red and 42+28 p violet. I have seen inverted overprints on all values.
I've also seen some stamp with inscription 'DEUTSCHE POST', overprinted in blocks of four with 'Freie Deutsche Jugend Jugendausschuss der Stadt Dobeln'.
Some stamps of Germany (Hitler issue) were overprinted with a pattern of dots 'Döbeln' and a date; I have seen the 6 p in this way. I have also seen a 1 p stamp with a black circle overprinted to cover the face of Hitler.
I've also seen some stamps of West Saxony (Leipzig issue) with an overprint on 4 stamps: 'Freie Deutsche Jugend Jugenausschuss der Stadt Dobeln' and surcharged with a new value. I've seen 5 p green (red overprint) and 15 p brown (green overprint).
Some primitive labels were used as postage stamps. Example on an envelope:
Other example:
Very primitive stamps made with a typewriter were made in this town with inscription 'Gebühr bezahlt' and value on coloured paper.
6 p black on green ? p 24 p black on lilac 42 p black on green
Stamps of 'Provinz Sachsen', overprinted 'EILENBURG' (two types).
(Gemeinde Falkensee, with falcon above a lake, reduced size)
In the above design I have seen the values: 5 p green, 6 p violet, 8 p orange, 12 p red, 20 p violet (blue?) and 30 p yellow.
3 p brown 4 p grey 5 p green 6 p violet 8 p orange 10 p brown 12 p red 20 p blue 30 p green 40 p lilac 42 p brown 60 p violet
These stamps exist perforated and imperforate, they have an additional tax meant for the reconstruction after the war. Souvenir blocks with 4 stamps (3 p, 6 p, 8 p and 12 p) also seem to have been issued, they were sold for 1.50 Rm. The 5 p and 30 p have different shades of green; misprints exist where the colours have been inverted.
Primitive stamps made with a typewriter were made in Flensburg, they have inscription 'Nachweis in Flensburg' and value (I've seen 30 Rpf) or 'Nachw. in Flensburg' and value (I've seen 30 Rpf and 70 Rpf).
(This envelope is adressed to a stamp dealer!)
Primitive stamps with inscription 'Gebühr bar bezahlt'. I have seen the values 12 p red and 24 p violet (probably the only ones issued). These stamps have no gum.
Reprints exist and were made in 1996. They were issued (500 each) by the 'BUNDESARBEITSGEMEINSCHAFT AKTIE PHILATELIE'. They also exist pasted on letters.
(Tag der Volkssolidaritat 11.4.46 Frankenberg/Sa.)
Many stamps of Germany were overprinted with a violet circle with white 'FM' in the center. Example:
I've also seen many Hitler stamps with this circular 'FM' overprint.
Also some very primitive stamps were issued with a blue frame and a violet '5', '6', '8' or 'VII' in the center.
Another set of primitive stamps with a coloured circle with white 'FM' surrounded by a value in the two corners and a black rectangular outline exists. I've seen the values: 5 p (violet 'FM', lilac '5' and black rectangle), 6 p (violet 'FM', lilac '6' and black rectangle), 8 p (lilac 'FM', violet '8' and black rectangle), 12 p (lilac 'FM', violet '12' and black rectangle), 80 p (lilac 'FM', lilac '80' and black rectangle) and XII p (lilac 'FM', violet 'XII' and black rectangle).
(Many of these stamps on an envelope)
('RETTET das KIND Fredersdorf b/Bln.' on 'Stadt Berlin' issue;
this overprint also exists on the 6 p violet stamp of this issue)
Primitive stamps with inscription 'Geb. bez' were issued in this city. Besides the above shown 6 Rpf black on yellow, I have also seen the values: 8 Rpf black on yellow and 12 Rpf black on lilac.
(Overprint 'Kreis Glauchau' on a German Official stamp)
These overprints were made on many other stamps of Germany.
(Reduced sizes)
5 p green (value) 6 p violet (value) 8 p red (arms of Gorlitz) 12 p lilac (arms of Gorlitz)
It seems that these stamps were printed together on one sheet (at least for some stamps).
Stamps of Germany (Hitler issue) were overprinted with a black circle to cover the face of Hitler, example:
