A serie without the surcharge in centimes exists, but was not issued because of problems with currency exchange (value:***).

I have also seen the whole set (3 p, 5 p, 10 p, 20 p, 25 p and 50 p) with overprint 'Marocco' without indication of value (essays?):

Unissued 25 p with 'Marocco' only: essay?

A 10 c with fancy gothic overprint seems to have been found in 1922 (probably an essay).

Forgeries, example:

The above imperforate stamp is a forgery, the stamp as well as the overprint are forged. Note, for example, that the ornaments in the lower left corner are much larger than in a genuine stamp. For more information on forgeries of the German colonies click here.

All German post offices in Morocco were closed in June 1919. Many post offices had already closed at the beginning of World War I.

Forgeries

In the Fournier Album of Philatelic Forgeries the following cancel can be found: 'TANGER (MAROCCO) *6/3.01* DEUTSCHE POST':

If anybody has seen this forged cancel used on stamps, please contact me!

Bogus issue

Stamp with inscription 'DEUTSCH-MAROCCO' and overprint 'ALGECIRAS 25 CENTIMOS', probably a bogus product.
