These stamps have watermark 'Multiple Script CA Crown'. The values 10 Pounds green and black, 20 Pounds green and red, 25 Pounds red and black, 50 Pounds brown and black, 75 Pounds grey and violet and 100 Pounds black and red were mainly used fiscally.

Many of these stamps exist with fiscal overprint 'Uganda Revenue' (two types of overprint). Also the overprint 'KENYA JUDICIAL' was printed on many values:

A 20 c green and blue, 30 c blue and brown, 65 c blue and green and 1 Sh lilac and black were issued in a design identical to many other British colonies (Windsor castle).

The 10 c green and black and the 1 Sh brown and black were re-issued for the Royal Visit in 1952 with additional inscription 'ROYAL VISIT 1952'.

These stamps were overprinted 'Uganda Revenue' to serve as fiscal stamps (no image available).

I've seen a modern Maryland forgery of the 1 Pound value, in my opinion the perforation is wrong.

These stamps were issued during World War II, due to a shortage in stamps. The overprints were performed on both the stamps with 'SOUTH AFRICA' and 'SUID AFRIKA' inscriptions.

In 1964 a set for the Tokyo olympic games was issued with inscription 'UGANDA KENYA TANGANYIKA & ZANZIBAR'.

Tanganyika and Zanzibar were merged in to the new country Tanzania. The stamps were now inscribed 'UGANDA KENYA TANZANIA' with the country names in random order. Each of these countries also issued its own individual stamps.

Kenya Fiscal Stamps

In 1934 a fiscal stamp with the portrait of King George V were issued with top-inscription 'KODI' and 'KENYA' below in the value 1 Sh orange and lilac (sorry, no picture available).

In this design (standing lion) were issued the values: 10 c green, 20 c lilac, 50 c green, 1 Sh red, 2 Sh blue, 5 Sh orange, 10 Sh green, 20 Sh brown, 25 sh brown (larger size). In 1970 the values 10 c to 20 Sh were re-issued in smaller sizes.

A different standing lion design (but now the lion is facing to the left) was issued in 1982, the inscription reads 'KENYA REVENUE'.

Again another design (lying lion) with inscription 'KENYA REVENUE' was issued in the 1990's.
