Provisional issues of Mafia

Some provisional stamps were issued for the island Mafia by the British. Besides fiscal stamps of German East Africa with overprint 'O.H.B.M.S. MAFIA' or 'G.R. POST MAFIA', also some stamps of India with overprint 'I.E.F.' received the overprint 'G.R. POST MAFIA'.

(Statistik des waarenverkehrs with 'O.H.B.M.S. MAFIA' overprint in a circle, I've seen the values 24 pesa red, 12 1/2 heller olive, 25 heller green, 50 heller blue and 1 Rupie violet with this overprint)

(Stamp of India, overprinted 'I.E.F' and 'G.R. POST MAFIA', image obtained from http://www.sandafayre.com)

(I've been told that these two stamps of India with Mafia overprint are genuine)
