A 2 c grey and blue, 6 c blue and brown, 12 c blue and green and 24 c lilac and black were issued in a design identical to many other British colonies (Windsor castle).

I have seen the following values with overprint 'GUYANA INDEPENDENCE 1966' and further overprint 'Commonwealth Day 14 March 1983' and surcharged: 1.20 $ on 6 c green, (blue second overprint and surcharge), 1.30 $ on 24 c orange and black, 2.40 $ (blue second overprint and surcharge) on 24 c orange and black.
