Due to a lack of stamps of 30 c in 1926, an overprint was applied "GOUVERNEMENT P.P. 030 SAINT PIERRE MIQUELON ST PIERRE" on envelopes for France, example:
This overprint was used in end of April and begin Mai 1926. The date 30-6-26 seems quite late on the above piece. Similar envelopes with '0 05' instead of '0 30' exist. Also similar envelopes with only 'PP' in the center:
("PP" only, reduced size)
