The same overprint on a 1/2 a blue stamp of India has turned out to be an unofficial overprint.

Cancels

Sungei Ujong used a cancel consisting of an oval of thick parallel bars (similarly to an almost indistinghuishable cancel used in Perak):

2 c red with cancel Cancellation with bars Blue cancel

It seems that this cancel exists in the colours black, red and violet. The colour violet was only used in Sungei Ujong. These cancels can also be found on unsurcharged Victorian Straits Settlements stamps.

(Could be used in Sungei Ujong or Perak?)
