A sultanate in Malaysia. Before 1909 under Thai influence, it then became an unfederate Malay state under British protection. It first issued stamps in 1910.

Different type of overprint '2' not curved at the bottom. In the normal type the '2' is curved at the bottom.

For the specialist, these stamps have watermark 'Multiple CA Crown'. All stamps have perforation 14. Several misprints seem to exist of the Red Cross overprints: '2 c,' instead of '2 c.' and 'CSOSS' instead of 'CROSS' (I have never seen these misprints).

Some of these stamps were overprinted 'MALAYA BORNEO EXHIBITION', this was merely a private overprint. The overprint exists on the values: 5 c brown and grey, 10 c red and green on yellow, 20 c, 25 c, 50 c and 1 $.

These fiscal stamps were issued during the Thai occupation. They have a ship as design. In a small size exist: 1 c, 2 c, 3 c, 4 c, 5 c, 10 c, 25 c, and 50 c. In a larger size: 1 $, 2 $, 3 $, 5 $, 25 $, 50 $ and 100 $.
