Example:
The earliest cancels of Perak consist of an oval with parallel bars (by the way, this cancel was also used in Sungei Ujong):
This cancel exists in black, red and violet (violet was only used in Sungei Ujong).
Circular date stamps were used from 1882 onwards.
Two "TAIPING" and one "IPOH" cancel on tiger
issues.
Cancels with 'PAID' were also used in Perak, could this be one of them?:
Perak 'PAID' cancel on unoverprinted Straits stamps on the left?
One the right a Perak stamp with 'PAID'.
Example, fiscal stamp of Straits Settlements overprinted 'PERAK':
25 c postage stamp (tiger design) with overprint 'JUDICIAL' to be
used as a fiscal stamp. Note the fiscal 'hole' cancel.
